TUSTIN, Orange County — Austin Lumbard and Letitia Clark are the two mayoral candidates listed by the Tustin city clerk for November 3, 2026. The citywide mayoral term is four years. The separate District 3 council race is a different contest.
The official list identifies Lumbard as Tustin mayor and businessman, and Clark as a community college director. Both candidates use their campaign materials to argue that their experience equips them to guide the city’s next stage of growth.
Austin Lumbard: development and neighborhood character
Lumbard’s campaign website emphasizes redevelopment of the former base, protection of established single-family neighborhoods and Old Town’s character, and attention to vacant or deteriorated properties.
He also calls for supporting public-safety personnel, improving neighborhood appearance and bringing activity to Tustin Legacy. His campaign describes prior Planning Commission service and election to the council in 2018 as the foundation for his approach.
The proposals connect development decisions with day-to-day neighborhood conditions. They are statements of his campaign agenda, rather than proof that any future project or service improvement has already been delivered.
Letitia Clark: services, housing and public engagement
Clark’s published platform calls for investment in parks, housing, infrastructure and community spaces. She supports small businesses and development that creates jobs while respecting the community’s character.
Her public-safety agenda includes emergency preparedness and mental health services. She also proposes stronger school and youth partnerships for mentorship, leadership and career opportunities, along with more transparent and inclusive city decision-making.
In her officially filed candidate statement, Clark cites council service from 2016 through 2024 and her time as mayor. Those are the experience and policy arguments she places before voters.
What is verified about personal voting?
The sources reviewed for this report do not establish when or where either candidate personally cast a ballot. Campaign priorities and requests for support do not confirm a voting appearance. No polling location, voting photograph or personal-voting quotation is being attributed to either candidate.
This report distinguishes campaign proposals from verified Election Day activity and does not announce an election result.
